The game contains three kinds of scatter symbols:
* Invisible ink
* Free games
You will only see the invisible ink on reel three, and it gives between 2x and 20x your stake as a bonus whenever it appears.
Free games are just free spins with a different name. Exclusive casino no deposit bonus. If you pull more than one of them on reels two to four, you trigger fifteen free spins. Each spin carries a 3x stake bonus added to any wins. You can win more free spins during a free game round, extending your bonus.
You trigger the potions only when you pull all three on the first three reels. They launch a mini-game and grant an automatic reward of 10x your stake.
There are two bonus rounds offered by the Cash Wizard. They are:
* The mystery wheel
* Mystery potions
You can trigger the wheel randomly at the end of a spin if no other bonus or scatter has been activated. It offers three jackpots that will award you between five and 20 free spins and up to 1500x your stake per line. Just click the cutesy Cash Wizard to make him wave his wand and stop the wheel.
The mystery potions feature opens a scroll-like screen that displays a range of potion bottles. Click each one to reveal what’s inside – hopefully, cash bonuses. All seven could be prizes, or all seven could be cursed potions. Choose one of the unlucky concoctions and your bonus adventure will end there. However, you always keep the 10x per line stake bonus you get for simply triggering the game.
Unlock all seven without getting a cursed bottle and you’ll not only keep all seven cumulative bonuses but also win an extra 100x your stake per line.
Who is this game ideal for?
Based on the low threshold for bets, Cash Wizard should appeal to low-budget, penny-slots players and less-serious slots fans. There are a lot of bonus interactions and scatter symbols, keeping gameplay exciting, but it lacks the truly huge potential payouts of the big-money, progressive jackpots from Bally’s competitors.
Although there’s a lot of charm here, the lack of advanced options, line settings, or auto spins will put off the most hardcore slots fans. Lastly, the low-budget design style of the main character’s animation may be a negative for some, even though it was clearly made that way on purpose.
Some similar, fantasy-styled slot games from Bally include Jewel of the Dragon, Acorn Pixie, and Dragon Spin.
The dragons in Dragon Spin visually triumph over the rather limp and unintimidating dragon companion in Cash Wizard. As the star of the show, the dragons also get their own video intros and fancy animations, which are superior as well.
On the other hand, art styles in slots are highly subjective, so you may prefer the simple stylings of Cash Wizard. Regardless, all three of these games are also five-reel, 30-line slots.
Lastly, we should mention that Cash Wizard features the lowest bet options of them all and the clearest representation of the 30 lines available.
Lots of bonus features: Compared to some slot games we’ve experienced, Cash Wizard has a strong selection of extra rounds and random bonus features to keep things interesting. The potions mini-game was also intriguing and added an extra dimension to the usual spinning-reels gameplay.
Clear presentation: The updating paytable and the clearly set out lines make this game a cinch to play. The bonus rounds are also succinctly described and make good use of the fantasy-themed voice lines.
Low bets: The ability to have full scaling on your bets per line, down to as low as $0.01, is a real draw for penny-slots players.
Relatively low jackpots: The scaling jackpots are not high at all and do not approach the massive, progressive jackpots you might find in top-tier Microgaming slots, for example.
No setting lines or auto spins: This was a big deal for us and will be for many players, too. Dedicated players will especially miss the auto spins. Customization is important in any modern slot game that wants to be on top. There just wasn’t enough here.
Divisive graphics: The graphics are liable to turn off some people, but we personally enjoyed the strangely low-tech Cash Wizard with his simplistic features. However, we understand this style might not be for everyone.
* Graphics and design – 2.5/5: The symbols were nothing special, but the rest depends on what art style you like. It may be simplistic, but we’re sure this was done on purpose to appeal to a certain kind of player.
* Sound effects – 3.5/5: Cash Wizard’s music is, in part, excellent– but it needed a little more variation on the main theme. The same goes for the voice effects, which were highly impressive but quickly got a bit stale without more than one or two options.
* Jackpot value – 2/5: It’s quite possible you’ll win more on the reels than with the jackpots in Cash Wizard, which isn’t great. Couple that with a relatively low RTP, and you can see why we gave it a low rating.
* Replay value – 4/5: We found Cash Wizard very enjoyable to play. The sheer number of bonus games and scatter symbols that come up on a relatively frequent basis help to keep the gameplay intriguing and should satisfy penny-slots players for a long time.
Cash Wizard Slot Machine
When it comes to our daily finances and budget handling, it often feels like one needs magical powers to get by till the next paycheck and skilfully manage the available balance to ensure the survival. Some kind of sorcery or even invisibility spell must be involved here since you are constantly witnessing your money disappear without a trace and you never seem to be able to solve the mystery of its whereabouts.
To fill the gaping void of their bank accounts, people often turn to alternative sources of income and what could sound more promising than Cash Wizard, a 5-reel and 30-payline slot by Bally, which offers plenty of bonus features and Mystery Wheel jackpots.
Free Slots Real Cash Payouts
In terms of themes, the slot is a cross between a classic gem and fantasy theme, featuring Gems, A, K, Q, J, 10 and 9, together with a special set of symbols – Invisible Ink, Free Games, and Potions.
The lines are fixed and the betting level is adjusted via the command arrows at the bottom of the screen. The bets start at $0.5 and are capped at $400 per spin, with around 94% return to player percentage – somewhat low, but not unusual, give the slot’s structure, betting range and added jackpots.
Auto Play is available, allowing automated sessions of 10, 20, 30 and 50 consecutive spins. The auto gameplay is stopped manually or after all the spins are completed – there is no option that would enable any advanced settings. The payout table can be accessed through the i tab on the right. The payout potential will depend on the selected betting level, and, for higher payouts, maximising the bet is advised.
Cash Wizard bonus rounds and special features
Wizard Wild Bonus can be triggered randomly, with the Wizard appearing on the reels and awarding up to 5 Wild icons which will remain on their positions until the reel seize spinning and no other feature can be triggered during this bonus.
Mystery Wheel feature is also unlocked at random, granting one Wheel spin to the player. To stop the Wheel, players must click on the Wizard and collect either Free Spins or a cash award from 100 to 10,000 coins.
The Wheel is not the only way players can trigger the Free Spins – if the relevant icon appears on the reels 2 to 4, 15 bonus rounds will be granted, with the possibility of triggering extra spins during the Free Spins. While the feature is on, the winnings will be tripled.
Potion icons on reels 1 – 3 initiate Magic Potion Feature and the picking game can award up to x100 bet value if the player manages to go through the entire picking game without clicking in the icon that hides Cursed Potion.
Invisible Ink only appears on the third reel. Clicking on the symbols will reveal a stake multiplier of up to x20.
Cash Wizard is packed with bonuses and multipliers and some of the features do not even require a triggering combination. Instead, they can pop up at any time and the player will even get a stake increase for simply unlocking the bonus game – x2 total stake for Free Games and x10 line stake for Magic Potions Bonus Feature. Online games no deposit required. Another advantage is that the Free Spins can be triggered two ways – on the Wheel and with the specific symbols.
As far as the visual solution of the game, we have definitely seen better and the slot seems a bit like a child’s doodle, which may have been deliberate.
You can hardly go wrong when creating a slot with a plethora of bonuses and players will definitely not have a boring moment playing it, although there will be occasions where Free Spins will not amount to anything. This, as well as the low return to player percentage, can definitely be frustrating, however, a few dry spins here and there are a given with any slot.
The Cash Wizard slot is a really special one for me. The first time I ever played it, the first time I hit the spin button I got the random ‘wizard wilds’ feature. The next thing I knew, this little wizard character was throwing random wilds all over the screen and I was heading straight into a big win.
The thing that made me love the game even more was the amazing sequence of sounds and music that accompanied the payout and the final win. It just seemed magical, which I guess is the whole point, given the theme of the game.
007 slot machine. When I look at this game and compare it to other Bally slots like Chimney Stacks, I wonder how they got things so right with this one and so wrong (imo) with the Chimney game.

Maybe it’s just me, but the two games are not massively different in many ways, but a world apart in the way they play and the enjoyment they give. Suffice to say, though, I absolutely love this Cash Wizard Game.
